Is this journal indexed in Scopus?

All journals included in SJR are indexed in Scopus. Elsevier / Scopus is our data provider, so we cannot add any journal that is not included in Scopus data base.

I have sent an article this year and it is not indexed yet, why?

Articles published this year are not over yet. Those indicators will not be available until June of next year. We cannot see what will happen in the future with this journal. SCImago receives data from Scopus / Elsevier annually, and we don’t have authority to include, exclude or modify data provided by them.

How can I submit a manuscript?

For all the questions related to journals information, you should check their own website. To submit an article, you should check author’s intructions. You can find the link in SJR website in the buttom “How to publish in this journal”.

Could you send me journal website?

You can check all journals website in SJR website by clicking the buttom “Homepage”.

Does this journal use the same parameters than Wos?

SCImago Journal and Country Rank uses Scopus data, our impact indicator is the SJR. Check our site to locate any journal. We suggest you consult Journal Citation Report for other indicators (like Impact Factor) with a Web of Science data source.

What does it mean that a journal is cancelled?

Our data comes from Scopus/Elsevier, which offers an annual copy of their database. We understand that since the date indicated by Scopus/Elsevier the journal is no longer indexed in its database. While the citation window is still active, we can show indicators of the journal.

Is this journal Open Access?

You can find an icon (padlock) in the right side of the journal title. If this padlock is open, it means that this journal is Open Access. However, if the padlock is closed, it means that this journal is not Open Access.

Why had journal quartile changed from last year?

Every single year SJR is updated on June. Each year Scopus provides us an update database, and according to that new information, indicators are calculated. Annual data updating can modify journal's quartile from other years.
